Since the holiday cottage is uniquely positioned at the edge of an extensive sandy beach - Poppit Sands - the cottage provides spectacular views. We have owned and let the property for over 50 years. |

The nearest village is St. Dogmaels with the grocery shop, fish and chips, 2 pubs, as well as a working water mill and the well preserved ruins of an 10th century Abbey, plus a weekly farmers market |

Whether it be the Teifi estuary on the right, the black rocks leading to the second beach on the left or the dramatic Cardigan Island directly ahead, there's always something to catch your eye.

The nearest town is Cardigan with a good range of shops, numerous pubs/restaurants plus a public swimming pool, theatre, cinema, golf club and sailing club.
Poppit Sands is also the start of the world famous Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

The accommodation of the self-catering cottage consists of: * A large living room overlooking the beach to Cardigan Island * Wi-fi (though due to position it can be sketchy at times) * Satellite Digital TV with recorder (though limited to free only channels) with built in DVD/CD player |

We welcome well behaved dogs but ask you not to allow them on the sofa, nor the beds Or alternatively, bring your own sheet/rug to use as a protective cover. Please bring your own bed linen, towels and bath/toilet mat. |

'Swn-y-Don' has now a Multi-fuel Stove/Log burner installed (alongside the 2 older small storage heaters) and so suitable stays for year, providing an excellent holiday property for young and old alike. Parking is available just outside the holiday cottage for 1 car, with an electric charging point in the Cafe car park, some 400 meters away |
